Frequently
asked questions

Can I download an Apple Podcasts episode?

Yes. Paste an Apple Podcasts show or episode link. If the shared episode is available in the public feed, it appears first.

Can I download a podcast from a Spotify link?

Sometimes. Spotify does not publish a public RSS mapping for listener links, so the downloader requires one exact public-directory match. Exclusive, private, and ambiguous shows are rejected instead of guessed.

Does the downloader convert podcast audio to MP3?

No. It streams the original MP3, M4A, OGG, or other enclosure file published by the podcast host without re-encoding.

Can I download subscriber-only episodes?

No. The downloader only reads public feeds and cannot bypass logins, subscriptions, or digital rights controls.

What analytics does the site collect?

Datadog measures page performance, browser and device class, approximate region derived from the connection, source categories, supported link types, success or failure categories, and preview or download actions. Session replay and automatic interaction tracking are off. The site never sends pasted links, feed or audio URLs, episode titles, download tokens, search terms, or referrer paths to analytics.

Why does a download open in a new tab?

Some audio hosts control how their files open. If your browser opens a player, use its download or save command.
